Broadway Pizza in Rogers
In 1953, an Italian named John Spallacci, born in Gorviano Valli Italy, moved to Minneapolis and introduced his very special pizza recipe to the Twin Cities area.
It was in 1961 that Eddie Peck purchased the operation from Spallacci and with the help of his wife Dorothy and mother Mamie, continued with the pizza tradition from his neighborhood restaurant and bar at 253 W. Broadway in north Minneapolis. While Eddie made the sausage from scratch, Mamie spent her mornings preparing her special sauces and dough's for the delicious homemade pizza. Word quickly got around that Eddie and his family were making the best pizza in town. Soon it was standing room only at the Broadway.
Over the years, Eddie's famous thin-crust pizza has earned countless accolades from the media. And a loyal following from the public.
Today Broadway Pizza® is a growing collection of neighborhood restaurants united in our dedication to providing our customers with superior food and service. We sincerely hope you enjoy your visit to Broadway Pizza® and come back to see us soon.
