About Jimmy's
Jimmy’s Sports bar is a hidden Northeast gem. Located at 4th St NE and 19th Ave NE, it is just a block off University Avenue and minutes from downtown. Many of his clientele like the seclusion, and the peace and quiet. From the morning local residents, to the late night “hospitality” crowd, they all come to Jimmy’s for “cheap drinks and damn good food”. You know it is a good fun bar when all the waiters, waitresses and bartenders go there after work.
Jimmy has owned the bar for over 30 years and prides himself on the friendly patrons, reasonable drinks and good food. Check out the Vegas-style shrimp cocktail (better than Vegas-no lettuce) for $2.75, nachos, or the baker's dozen little smokies with BBQ sauce for $1.75. For heartier appetites, check out the best Kielbasa in town (1/3 lb.) or his quality sandwiches. The kitchen never closes at Jimmy’s. A small town bar in a big town, Jimmy’s is the place worth finding for friendly fun, reasonable drinks and tasty food.
