About Lotus Restaurant
Lotus is one of my favorite thai joints in the city. They have very good food, and the spring rolls are fresh and delicious. The place itself is nothing glamorous, but the food to great so no worries. The service is always friendly and fast. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good thai food in the U of M area.
I have eaten at the Lotus on Oak St. for over twenty years. I almost dread making such a positive review because this restaurant has been such a well-kept secret. However, the truth must out and I can safely say, if you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place to go. The Imperial Eggrolls (#1a) are to kill for and (if you like some spice to your cooking) the curry chicken (#21) is out of this world. The place is rarely crowded and the service is wonderful. This restaurant is worth the visit.
