Truong Thanh is a bit of SouthEast Asia nestled on Eat Street (Nicollet Avenue between 13th and Lake St.) in Minneapolis. Yes, they have some take-out food but this is where you go for supplies and ingredients to prepare your own! Seafood rules, but there are other treasures to be found.
Blue crab and an assortment of fish from around the world flown in daily. The display is a definite eye-catcher but don’t let it distract you from the huge selection of teas (Perhaps the Twin Cities largest!) or the wall of herbs and spices. The place isn’t huge, but you may feel an urge to play Marco Polo for other reasons.
