Wild Mountain Ski & Snowboard Area has 23 runs and 4 four place chairlifts. Long known for its excellent conditions Wild Mountain has been the first ski area open in the Midwest the last 28+ years. In the summer time Climb aboard the Taylors Falls Princess or the Taylors Falls Queen, two authentic paddlewheel river boats on the St. Croix River. The Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours offer scenic boat trips daily, seven days a week from Maythru mid October. Enjoy the natural setting, beauty and the wonders of the St Croix River Valley.
If you want to view the beauty of the St. Croix “close up”, Taylors Falls Canoe Rental specializes in one-way canoe trips from 2 - 7 hours of nature filled paddling. Wild Mountain Recreation Park, featuring; waterslides, alpine slides, and formula “K” Go - Karts. Wild Mountain features activities and rides for all ages. On the dry side there are Formula “K” Go - Karts for adults and children and two Alpine Slide Tracks. Wild Mountain features one of the few alpine slides in the nation. As you can see Taylors Falls is filled with many recreational opportunities year round that people of all ages will enjoy! Come for an hour, the day or stay for the week.
