Splatball Inc off of 25th and university in Minneapolis, is also the only field in the metro area with both in and outdoor playing fields. Beyond the borders of Minnesota though, it’s known as the oldest paintball field in the world, began in 1984. The game play is catered to everyone from kids to adults. They have walk-on games for individuals who just want to throw a little paint, and they have reservations available for those hardcore players who want to get together with some friends and have a good ole fashion shoot out.

They host a myriad of events from rookie tournaments to pro league play. Their new outdoor field in Rogers was designed by Team Splatball, 2005 PSP and NLPL paintball champions. If you visit that one, and there’s someone who wants to sit out, but doesn’t want to miss out on the fun, there is the Northern Palms mini golf course to keep preoccupied.
